Kabir was a saint ... a universal Guru........ a poet ......... a weaver ............... a Sufi and last but not the least a mystic. Bhakti Movement in India and Kabir born about Six hundred years ago in 1398 AD.He is perhaps the most quoted author. The Holy Guru Granth Sahib contains over 500 verses by Kabir.beauty of Kabir's poetry is that he picks up situations from our daily lives and this is the reason that his poetry are relevant and helpful in guiding and regulating our lives in both social and spiritual context.Kabir openly criticized all sects and gave a new direction to the Indian philosophy. His straight forward approach make him a person of universal acceptance.

Kabir influenced deeply me .Kabir has left a deep impact on my psyche . Kabir defies easy classification because like the greatest mystical poets his lofty vision transcends religious sects and ideology.Kabir have capability to touch the soul, the conscience, the sense of awareness and the itality
of existence in a manner that is peerless in both simplicity and style.
He represented a synthesis of Hindu, and Muslim concepts. From Hinduism he accepts the concept of reincarnation and the law of Karma. From Islam he takes the affirmation of the single god and the rejection of caste system and idolatry. According to Kabir, all life is an interplay of two spiritual principles. One is the personal soul (Jivatma) and the other is God (Paramatma). It is Kabir's view that salvation is the process of bringing into union these two divine principles.
Thanks to Tagore's work to translate the poetry of Kabir that the everyone came to know the works of Kabir.I love Kabir because of his impeccable blend of a poetic and spiritual capacity that help merely everyone to understand the every propect of life.
