Well, the Gujrat elections have completed its journey form “ Maut ka saudagar” to “Modified Gujrat” and in the process delivered a powerful and mindblowing massage to Indian democracy and media. From the start, the Congress and almost the entire media have announced that the Gujrat election will be the one storm that will festinate the end of the BJP;.They were trying to scare the people about Modi being a person who can get people killed without any headache.But Just like the UP elections, it is reasonably clear that the dynasty are not capable of conveying votes for the Congress party. They can only do it if they build up firm local leaders who can conjure an organization.
And Message for the media???? It’s really amusing that till 10 am of Dec 23, 2007, Narendra Modi was impersonated as the Indian equivalent of the Great Satan; he has been called a ‘‘mass murderer’’ and an ‘‘ugly Indian’’; and poll pundits have suggested ‘‘Modify your image,’’ and ‘‘we’ll take another look at you’’ but by 10:30 am he was being estimated as a future prime ministerial candidate. So finally media came to know that now everyone has its opinion and you cannot always force him to eat up what you parcel out to him
To the Indian democracy, Modi has shown that Corruption free good governance pays and development can also buy you votes. Modi has succeeded because he has come to characterize courage and integrity. The Gujarat model is not in difference with the Bharat model. What has worked in Gujarat is a leadership style constructed on originality, loyalty and a resolute rebelliousness of a compromised establishment.
