Meaning of Silence
Exiled Bangladeshi writer, Tasleema Nasreen was attacked by some MLA ( lawmaker of India who are bound by oath " to bear true faith and allegiance to the constitution of India" ??????) of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Party (MIM) in Hyderabad on Thursday
I wonder where are advocates of M.F. Hussian, who were defending him for making nude pictures of goddess Saraswati and Durga. Now none of them has come in support of Taslima. Why are they not condemning attack on her? I am sure that these two-mouthed Hippocrates will never come forward to criticize this incident. Till now not a singal national party has given any remark on this matter. Every party is indulging itself in minority appeasement policy due to their vote bank.
Will the so called secular people now condemn what the MIM activists did in the function? Will the psedosecularists now bark against the MIM and the Muslim fundamentalism?? If the same thing would have been done by BJP or Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or any state that is not ruled by UPA friends then
these pseudo-secularists would have been the first to cry about secularism. The Congress has a bleeding heart for women, champion of women's causes! Where are now? This incident has happened in their own ruled state!and its own supporters ( MIM is supporting congress government in Andhra Pradesh Cruel redicals claim that they are acting like their Hindu counterparts as they protest against naked paintings brushed by M.F.Hussain. What a foolish logic it is! Perhaps they don’t know that Tasleema has also criticized the Hindu’s religious books in her book entitled “Aurat ke haq me” (It’s a Hindi translation of her book .I am extremely sorry that I don’t the name its original Bangla version) and none of Hindu organization criticized her for it. Ohhhh don’t confuse that I am praising or supporting the Hindu radicalism. Such activity of fundamentalism and communal hatred should always criticize. Hindu Muslim radicalism doesn’t matter.
This woman is great and what ever she is doing is good and essential for society. Our politicians and self claimed secularists will do nothing for this lady. So now it’s the turn of aware citizens to come and fight such act of fundamentalism and uncover the face of pseudo secularists make true Tasleema's words that she hope to live as a democrat in India. The people who attacked her are in minority and she gets support from majority.

secularism is an integral part of our society .. but yeah ! as you say there are some elements who take unfair advantage and unnecessarily sensationalize the issue for petty political gains... but having said that ... we should be careful and shud'nt take any sides.
