Diego Gambetta introduces an alien and ridiculous theory to explain the unfolded mystery that why being a suicide bomber is so popular in Muslim youth and why they easily lured by terrorist groups. Oxford University based sociologist and editor of “Making Sense of Suicide Missions” suggests that not a religious causes but it is the absence of sex which leads Muslims to be suicide bombers. His theory states that since polygamy is allowed for men in Islam therefore so many other are deprived the joy of women’s company which giving rise to an army of sexually repressed men. Polygamy inserts a competitive pressure on men. So for somebody who doesn’t have even a single mate on earth, for him a prospect of 72 virgins which are waiting in heaven for a martyr (as Islam promise for) is quite promising. Finally this infatuation drives a Muslim young to become a suicide bomber.
