A Patna trial court has doomed three legislators to death and given life internment to two others for leading and motivating a mob to kill a 1985-batch IAS officer G.Krishnaian. The rinky-dink session judge sentencing the big-time political boss is a big joke!!!!Immediately after this decision some jokers jump in to arena and called it as a “rare” moments and example of apprehending guilty politicians. But please don’t fool with these statements. I can bet they won’t even go to jail because they will get bail before it. Then the perpetrators will appeal to a special court, then to High court and then to Supreme court. And at long last decision will come at least after 50 years (13X4 = 52 years).A comment of Usha Krishnaian, wife of murdered officials, summarized the case: if conviction in an IAS murder can take 13 years, reckon how long a common man will have to wait.
It may be a welcome change that politicos and other influential persons are being convicted but most of those convicted initially have been acquitted by higher courts. It’s possible that some were clean-handed but the high rate of success entreaty suggests that investigating and prosecuting agencies need to be stricter in building a case. But unfortunately these agencies are also in same boat.


I have a firm belief that It is only a sentence in paper, not practical because I can’t name even a single case where any person who has muscle or money power was ever brought under law .And when I said that I mean in truth has passed some years in jailhouse or had gone through some severe penalizations. Just a matter of days when each and every of them would be contenting for assembly elections (they would win too) and acting in films........ Since we fall short of leaders and actors in India???? Until judgment copy received... they will get bail ….thereafter appeal to High and Supreme Court………….. Still on bail Supreme Court take another 10 years.........still on bail. Then after 10 years, Supreme Court verdict ……... Appeal/mercy petition to President.... …..on either 15 August or 26 January or 2 October, being a Samaj Sevaks and the mercy petition granted.... … hence officially free without a single days imprisonment. Every body know the rules of India and the judgments, that’s why more rapes more murders more blasts are happening. No one with muscle or money power has feared of Indian judiciary because they know that It can be played, twisted as per their will......
