Ba,Bapu and hari

Very recently I read the interview of Carmen Bin Laden, sister in law of worlds most wanted Er.Osama Bin Laden .Carmen left her husband so that she could give to her three daughters the basic right of freedom to live the way they wish to .Very recently I saw a movie Gandhi,my father where Bapu cut ties with his elder son because he wanted to impose his principals on his son and later was refused to comply. Then what kind of conclusion can be drawn from these two very different incidents. In my opinion Carmen is much better mother than Gandhi, as a father. Such kind of violent and partial behavior is not expected from a person whose whole philosophy has been depending upon truth and non-violence.
As much of the conflict in our life stem from the belief that our subjective is immutable truth and this misconception was also a cause of problem between father and son. Harilal was Gandhi's most inconvenient truth and he was used to accept it publically also. This film portrays the earlier Gandhi as a difficult father but by the age he mellowed down. Early seeds of discord was sown by Gandhi himself as he choose a less believable distant relative rather than his own efficient son for a fellowship and the reasons given behind this magnificent partiality and refusal to favor his son were totally ridiculous. Really I never expect such kind of dogmatic behavior from a person like Gandhi.No I can't stand for Harilal also as he wasn't a good person at all. He was always interested in easy money. No doubt, I feel pity for his childhood but he never takes advantage of golden opportunities that came his way only due to big name of Gandhi. He always utilizes the name of his father to fulfill his rubbish wishes. However I am fully agree with Harilal when He says that " All greatness you (Gandhi) have achieved is only because of Ba , never forget that".So finally "Ba ki jai"
